I’ve spent the last few months traveling around the province of Ontario displaying and selling my wearable art.
I had the privilege of meeting many great people and explaining the process of Sun and Spray Dyeing to them. So many of my customers are amazed that I use flowers and leaves from my garden to create my sun dyed scarves and I enjoy the look on their face when they hear me explain the process. Something I have been doing for over 15 years is a new concept to most and they can’t believe it can be done!
My scarf jewelry is really starting to catch on with my customers. I create unique pieces of jewelry meant not only to hold my scarves in place but also to add some bling and beauty to the ensemble. I select beads, stones and crystals that pick up the colours in my scarves to make a perfect matched set.
As this year starts to wind down, I am looking eagerly into 2019 and plan on attending even more shows and visiting communities that I have never been before. I also intend to partner with other companies to expand my sun dyed line of scarves. This is exciting times.
I want to thank all my supportive customers who came out to see my booth and talk to me about my art, my passion. Some of you became friends and I thank you for that too……
